The Undertones Chelmsford Chancellor Hall Ticket 1979
Another clasic gig from the Chancellor Hall. Fergal Sharkey and the band were just amazing the floor of the hall was bouncing though out the set , I think there must have been 800+ there that night. Classic songs included Teenage Kicks, My Pefect Cousin, Jimmy Jimmy and just pure rock and roll. Now I have a claim to fame as I think I have the loudest 'More' shout in the World, I am known amongst my fellow music fans for getting bands back for encores. This gig was probably my best performance as the band came back about 8 times, in the end the Chancellor Hall management had to throw the power as we were well past the Sunday night cut off time and no one wanted to go home on that warm Summer evening in June 1978.
