Explosion - Eli Paperboy Reed (click on image to play) To save Colin counting down for his retirement, this superb piece of new age funk does it all for you. So counting down, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, it’s gonna be an explosion baby. Enjoy one of the best and exciting tracks out for years. Duncan September 2011

Alex Harvey – Midnight Moses This is the 1969 original Harvey version released in 1969 and features his brother Les Harvey on guitar. A bit more jazzed up than the framed version that would occasionally get a spin on radio 1 on the Simon Bates birthday file once a year, the birthday file featured artist past and present on there actual birthday. Bates was probably better known for the 'our tune .love songs and stories that went out on the same show. I chose this song as while out on a birthday celebration meal, Neal happen to mention one of his favourite Alex Harvey tracks was the 'Midnight Moses'. He had never heard the 69 Harvey version, so give it a listen and see what you think. Maurice September 2011

Be My Girl - The Dramatics I have no particular reason to put this song up, but it makes me feel happy. Going to work this Monday morning, rather than listen to Ronnie Irani’s caustic jibes about another Arsenal loss. I put on the IPOD and this one came up third song in and brightened up a long early morning drive into London. You just can’t beat 70’s soul. Duncan, September 2011
