Fuze, The Globe 01/02/2013

Fuze The Globe 01/02/2013 I haven’t been in the globe for years and have forgotten how big this pub is, It’s massive. They look after and sell a decent pint so well worth a look. The reason that we went there was because this is Shakeys new venue where he puts on his gigs. It was a battle of the bands night with 2 very good bands in competition with each other. This was the Undiscovered competion

The first were the Accidental Tourists a very young band with a lot of energy. I didn’t know anything about them and they were all ready playing when I got to the venue. I do not have much knowledge about newer rock music, but as far as I could make out they were playing all of their own compositions. A couple of acoustic acts on after them, then the band that I had come to see FUZE. I have seen them quite a few times before, very young, very energetic and very good. They have actually supported Mcfly on their tour last year so they are hopefully on to bigger and better things The set consisted of “Don’t cry” “Love Guru” “Still in love with you” “By your side” and “The truth hurts” a bit shorter than normal but there was only restricted time. What this meant they started of fast, mellowed out in the middle and finished with a great rock song in any ones book. The good news was that they won this heat and since them have got through the semi finals and are now in the final at Chinnerys, Southend on the 23rd of March.

I don’t have anything from the gig but this ain’t bad
